About us
Our name is borrowed from Leukothea, the 'white goddess' of the sea who, as the myth goes, rescued Odysseus from the storm. It is not entirely a coincidence — Lefkothea is also the name of the owner and head hairdresser, who simply wanted to build the kind of space she would love to come to herself. We liked the idea: a shelter in the heart of Heraklion where you leave your own storm at the door. Our team pairs everyday salon care — cutting, color, treatments — with wellness rituals like the Korean Head Spa, so you always leave lighter than you arrived. We're on Knossou Avenue, an easy visit for clients from across Heraklion — Nea Alikarnassos, Poros, Therisso, Mastampas, Agios Ioannis, Mesampelies, the historic center, and the neighborhoods around them.
